hide or disable No Content for just one subtype

Hello. Is there such a way to hide or disable No Content for just one subtype? Windchill 12.0.2.
Thank you in advance.

What's the business goal?

We have several workflows that run on document creation where Content is required. If someone submits a document with "No Content", the workflow routes back to the submitter with a task to upload the required file.

If you already have or were planning to have a workflow associated, this may meet the business goal.

Hi,

You may achieve this by writing a client side validation that gets activated when user submits the Document object creation.

The other option is what Joe has mentioned, that one is easier to implement , only downside is that user gets to know that content was forgotten after the object was created and workflow has run (based on initial state of document and LC templates).

Cheers

Hari
