If I have soft typed WTPart and want to add a master attribute, do I add the master attribute to Part Master or to Proxy Part Master?

Part Master would equate to the WTPartMaster class.

If you do not want it visible on inheriting types, there are ways to deal
with that in the config.

So I added my attribute (Part Name) to the Part Master and when I create a WTPart I don't see the attribute. Is there more configuration that I'm missing?

You may have to update the profile or view/layout for your soft type in the
type manager.

Granted, adding attributes on master is newer, I have never tried myself per
se.

The attribute was already added by default to the layouts. I have found SPR 2122195 which was reported back in March of this year and no expected fix release. I'm curious as to why PTC allows the addition of user defined master attributes but doesn't show it in any other area of the software???
