Report - context teams

I've tried many times without much success to develop a report that lists all Groups and Users by Role in each Product and Library.


Using this case, one can get pretty close. It correctly lists the Product or Library, each role, and each Group / User mapped to the Role. But - for users it only lists the login, not the Full Name. Any way that I try to add the Full Name makes the report blow up.


Wondering if anyone has such a report.


Like almost everything in Windchill, one cannot see what is in each context unless you laboriously go to each context thru a zillion clicks. For most everything, we've been able to get the info in one place using QB reports - but this one is tricky.

note: Not trying to get user Membership by Group here (which would be also be nice) since that info is only stored in Windchill DS.

Previous report only included WTUser members of the container team roles. Attached is another version which also includes role members of type WTGroup, which exist in LDAP. I also don’t think it is possible to use report builder to determine the members of these groups which are populated within LDAP.


This is not exactly an elegant solution, I can image there is a neater way of doing this.


GUEST role and its members are not included in this report either. The group which represent the GUEST role is in a different position in the group hierarchy to the groups which represent all the other team roles. All the other roles have a common parent group called roleGroups. Didn’t find a way to over come that.
