Is the PDF version of the ACL reference all there is now? No HTML or any other version?

Hello Arbortext community-   Arbortext 7.0 M110 is now available for download.    Documentation Release Notes SPR Fixes     Download PTC Software download site   Also- just as a reminder- this is the last maintenance fix for this release stream. 7.0 is set to be retired at the end of this year- December 31, 2018. I have Iso Draw License and installed on our license server. We open FW 7788 but when we tried to connect Iso Draw, it said "Licenses request failed for feature ISODRAW". When else do we need to do?Thank you for your help

Whenever the Resource Manager is supposed to open, ArborText Editor crashes. This occurs whenever I attempt to open/create a dita map or view the resource manager manually.   I am receiving the following error: Unhandled exception at 0x0000000052BCFAFB (JavaAccessBridge-64.dll) in editor.exe: 0xC000041D: An unhandled exception was encountered during a user callback.   Does anyone know what could be causing this behavior?

Hey everyone,   Can someone please answer my question.   I'm working on a .sgm file containing illustrations with hotspots (URI). When I publish my technical publication, I find that the hotspots are not activated. The hotspots are an APE issue.    FYI, we used ISODRAW to create the illustrations (.cgm)   Thank you in advance..      

Hi there, sorry if this has been asked before, Only starting out properly using Windchill and Arbortext Editor for work.    I had created a BookMap through Windchill and everything was working fine until a few days ago, when i try to open the BookMap in Windchill, through Arbortext Editor, it brings up an error message stating that i may not have correct access, even though i created it.   However, when i go to the WorkSpace folder in Windchill and open it there, it works.   Not sure why this is happening if anyone would have any ideas?   Thanks.

Is it possible, that Arbortext Editor 7.0 M060 save the correct entity for special characters in the SGML-files, like: <!ENTITY sim SDATA "[sim ]" --/sim R:=similar--> and not like this: <?Pub EntList alpha bull copy rArr sect trade percnt sim>

I upgraded one of my users ArborText installation for 6.1 to 7.1 M010.  Now, whenever he starts the ArborText application, he gets the attached error.    I am an IT guy tasked with packaging and installing the software.  I have no knowledge of how to use it.   Any ideas?  Thanks!

Hello,Recently the Menu from Tools > IDs and ID references... which shows the IDs in the XML file stopped working.When I click it, it simply doesn't open.Is there any solution for this issue ?

Hi, I am using file upload widget which has inbuilt browse option for uploading and using csv parser for  csv file upload right now. But I am not able to customize that widget. So I have put  button named browse and a textbox to display url. Here how can I browse the desktop using a button and choose a file?    Please provide some guidance. Thanks, V Shalini.

Is there a way to choose the postscript.appcf using APE. The config file is not an option when choosing publish to pdf window.   Thanks   Bryon

I'm trying to build a PDF using a pub module that contains a list of data modules, using a Styler/FOSI stylesheet. I can access the DM using the ACL open function but nothing happens. How do I process the DM?

Browsing the documentation link, I cannot seem to locate documentation regarding the adapter for Arbortext. I believe Arbortext is using the Windchill PDMLink Adapter (best guess). I am trying to see where the attributes from Windchill are located in Arbortext via ACL   - Where is the adapter documentation located? Thank you    

Hi guys, we need to count the characters (including spaces) within a xml, but without counting the characters of some specific xml-tags, which e.g. includes meta-information.  My idea was to begin from the root element and go forward until end and count with the command length: length(oid_xpath_string(oid_caret(),".")) But i have problems with the count with nested xml-tags. Maybe you guys had the same requirement and can help me.  Thank you in advance. Greetings from germany

Hello. I am really looking to get some feedback and help.   In Arbortext, I am able to get the logicalId of the current document. I wish to use this information to call Windchill and have Windchill do a search for this document. Next, I want to display the result(s) of the document in the "Browser" dialog.   - What ACL Repository API calls should I look at to call Windchill from Arbortext with this information?   - Is the Arbortext ''Browser' dialog (which returns the results of a search) available/exposed to a developer? What ACL calls are related?  

Hello, Under Arbortext Editor and  with ACL language, I would like to activate a customized menu (grayed or not) depending on the context. For example, if the cursor of the mouse is in a specific tag, the customized menu is activated. If not, the menu is disabled (grayed).

Is there a way to retrieve the Windchill server URL using ACL in ArborText editor?

Hello, I want to use customized Java classes contained in an archive File (custom.jar). I have put my Jar file in the directory "Arbortext-path\custom\classes" The Java classes use librairies (Jar files) which are contained in my Jar file "custom.jar". The Java classes contained in my Jar file are loaded but not the librairies. How to load the librairies contained in my Jar file ? Best regards. David G
