I am using Creo Direct 7.0 7.0.0.0Looking for any script or utility that will allow us to run on Folder level to extract CREO part or assembly properties information such as Part Name/ID, Description, Mass, inertia, Volume, Material name, and other manufacturing information like Torque if available.We received set of Creo parts and assemblies from our customer that we would like to extract the properties information and prepare a Bill of material We only have Creo Design Advanced Plus and CREO Engineer II & III and no Windchill

Hello, I created a Creo Illustrate file and embedded all CAD models (none were linked). Recently I opened the .c3di file, and saw the pop up message: "To open the file it must be updated to use a standard. The default standard 'Creo Standard' will be used. Do you want to continue?" I clicked "yes" and then opened the file. Half of the CAD odels were unchecked and missing - in the sBOM (and the eBOM) they were unchecked & had red "X"'s by them. I have attached a screen-clip. Does anyone have any idea what happened?   All I can think of is starting over from scratch -- since the file seems to be ruined.   Thanks, Wes

Hi.I've created a couple of figures in Creo illustrate 7.0. I published them and now I wish to view them in Creo View Lite 5.1. As far as 3d formats are concerned everything seems to work fine and pdf files for 2d views open as well. The problem lies with .idr and .cgm files which when I try to open Creo View hangs and I need to shut it down. I can import a standalone .cgm file - Creo View asks to choose to either open it as and Illustration or a Drawing. The drawing works, the illustration hangs the program. If I open a pvz file I have no option available to open those as Drawings and it always hangs. Is it the case because I try to open them in Creo View 5.1 and they're not compatible or there's some other issue? P.S. 1. Why callouts end up moved around randomly when I open the published pvz file in Creo View?2. Why color overrides are not present in published pvz file? I am using Creo Direct 4.0 M1300in Assembly drawing view few of the component edge lines arent coming properly. view shows broken lines of sub-components.I tried to bring those lines visible by changing the view display style in the drawing but no luck with any of the options. I couldn't able to find any other solution to this issue. Kind request to take this on priority and provide the solution.

When we switched from WF4 to Creo last week, we also upgraded the settings for the publishing machine and put a local copy of Creo on it. Went through the Adapter.pvi and the Workder.rcp files and updated them to work with Creo2. We were already running the CreoView Adapters, so the only change was Creo2 from WF4. When we start the GS Worker as a service creo will not launch. The GS Worker is calling WorkerDaemon.exe. If I open a command prompt and run WorkerDaemon manually, then I can get Creo2 to start from the Worker Agent Administration window.Has anyone else had this issue with Creo2 or CreoView? PTC seems stumped on my open call.Going to cross post this to other groups for better coverage.

Is there an option I can't find or something? When I export a part to PVZ format and open it in Creo View, all annotations appear, except ones set to flat to screen. Any tips?

Hi All is there a setting in CreoView to make the Section 3D Dragger to be in the Viewing Screen.   Currently when in section and you select the section plane to move the section the dragger is in the middle of the model. in our case the model is 85m long x 20m high makes it very hard when trying to section at component level.   would be good to have the dragger to behave the same as the Component Transform dragger see attached files   We are using CreoView 8.0   many thanks   David

I have a user that we just upgraded to View 7.1 Lite and when opening pvs file it will show the thumbnail of the parts, but nothing shows up in the main view area except the name of the node opened in the view tree when hovering over where the part SHOULD be displayed.

Hello community,   We have a project to mount a VMWare Horizon7 VDI platform. Our infrastructure have a latency greater than or equal to 150ms. I search but I wasn’t able to found any answers on the Community. So could you help me please about the applications : "ProductView (9.0.M120)" and "Creoview Lite (4.1-F000_64b)" Do you know if you have any issues about latency and/or VMWare Horizon 7 with this products ?   First, is there a topic I missed that talk about it ? I am using Creo Schematics 3.0 M020We have the below Creo Schematics / WGm / Windchill.We find issues when we try to use WGM/Creo schematics on our company VPN, when we connect Creo Schematics/WGM to windchill using LAN/Ethernet it works fine, when we connect via VPN, it fails to open the dataset (.RSD) file, it says file is outdated. After that even if we try to reconnect using LAN, it does not work, only way is to re-install the Schematics software. Hi all   I am exporting my 3D figures as SVG to edit/add lines in Adobe Illustrator and I include image in the export. Now I experience that transparency of parts is lost after export. I recently updated to illustrate 8 from 7 and this was not an issue before, any idea of what setting could course this behavior?   Transparency is fine when I export to PDF or PNG.  Pictures show difference between view in creo illustrate and the exported SVG in Adobe illustrate.      

Hello to all,I'm trying to generate the BOM from Creo View by adding some attributes, in addition to the default ones.For example, I added the Epmdoc_lifeCycleStete attribute which comes from Windchill, but I realized that all the complete attributes, including Epmdoc_lifeCycleState, are present only in the assembly or in any case in the component I open first and not in the assemblies and components of the sublevels .Is there a way to load and visualize the attributes of all these objects?(attached some more specific images)

Is it possible to create multiple planar sections in a figure? I would like to show only the two ends of a pipe. I have attached a image that shows two planes (for visualization), the componentes between the planes are the ones I want to remove. I was not able to achieve this with the sectioning tab tools. 

Hello to all, I'm trying to set up a color code search to view the life cycle states of my Windchill WT PARTs in Creo View. As you can see in the Windchill structure (in image 1) the WTPARTs are in state: Encoded, Approved and Study. In Creo View I set the search with the part_lifeCycleState attribute and also tried with part_lifeCycleName (image 2). Maybe I am doing something wrong in setting this query because I have no result.
