How to autofit bigger tables in Arbortext. When I render PDFs with bigger tables, I am facing an issue

We want to load bulk promotion notice objects for windchill to windchill migration.WBM doesnt support the loading. Are there any other options to load promotion notice?please Advise 

Does anyone know where I can find a FOSI tag description table?   

I'm having three issues with Arbortext that I'm trying to solve. It changes my XML which is unacceptable. My XML is also used by an IETM, and must be compatible with that IETM. 1. For some reason Arbortext adds the following around the DOCTYPE when I save my XML: <!-- Fragment document type declaration subset:--> How do I stop this from happening? It causes errors in the IETM when it views the XML. 2. It changes my graphic's file path from "..\Graphics\O00002-4.png" to "O:\documents\TMS\Product 1\Graphics\O00002-4.png". 3. My graphic is named O00002-1, but Arbortext changes it to <graphic boardno="O00002-11"></graphic>. It does that for O00002-2, renaming it in the XML to O00002-21. O00002-3 and O00002-4 are unchanged. Is there a way to stop Arbortext from altering my XML? At this point I'd almost rather write it in notepad and make a copy for Arbortext to publish.

Hello, I am attempting to change the standard formatted page number format in xrefs to match the page numbering I have in the document footers I've created. As it stands, the formatted page numbering is a simple number, whereas the page numbering is in the format "1.05-3". Chapters are set as Division 1, Sect1s as Division 2, and the code for the page numbering is: <_gte:DivisionReference xrefStyle="Number" which="first" divs="sect1"/>-<_gte:FormattedPageNumber/>Does anyone have an idea of how to duplicate the above in an xref? Any help gratefully received. John Laidlaw  

We have two people working on one document instance.  The license is up for renewal for one in March, and the other in November.   The one in March more than likely will update to new 8.2.0.0 while the other will still be on 8.1.2.1.   Will there be any compatibility issues, or any noticeable differences on publish using Arbortext publisher option?

Is there a document or article that displays the supported protocols of the application and if so can it be provided?     

Ok sorry this maybe a bonehead question, but I am drawing a blank. I have modified the "IsoDraw 7.3 Preferences.PRF" file to add some colors I am using on a regular basis for fills. However when I go to an existing file and I look at the fill colors they are not how they are laid out in the PRF file. The colors appear as when I originally created the graphic. Is there a way to load the current/revised PRF file in these existing files? I have attached a couple of screenshots of how the Fill window looks in an old file and how a new graphic looks Thanks in advance  

HiWe have configured the https access for the image URLs recently.We can only access the http port url in Arbortext editor but we can not access the HTTPS url. Is there any place we need to configure in the local certificates for Arbortext editor and PE to access the our image server https URLThank you!

Hi,We are able to generate the PDF file from Arbor text editor with Publish->PDF option using XSLT stylesheet. Intermittently PDF has to be generated and modify the content before generating the final PDF. Could you suggest what ways customization can be done in XSLT to achieve the required functionality. Thanks in advance.

We use an in-house authored, very simply styled FOSI to generate PDFs from our XML files (using a slightly modified version of NLM's JATS 1.3 with Oasis tables and MathML). One problem we continue to have is that some Unicode characters, especially those for non-Latin scripts are not displaying in the generated PDFs. These characters display correctly in Arbortext Editor (we are using version 8.1.3.1). Is there a way to test if something is not fr-FR. The use case I'm styling for is that we want to be able to publish one section of a document at a time, retaining compound numbering as if it were lifted from the whole document. So, I might want to number a section as "4B" and have all the automatic compound numbering underneath work as usual under that.At the top level, I am able to style the title (numbering style 1,2,3,...) to start at a number designated by an attribute on the top (part) element at that level (as "4", for example).One level down, however, the (chapter) numbering style switches to A,B,C,... and I am unable to style the title numbering to start at "B" (whether starting from a fixed start position or using an attribute).By default, numbering for this level starts at "A", as one would expect. However, if I click on "Start at" at this level, it gives me a default fixed value of "1", rather than "A". History: back in 2014 in 6.1 M040 we turned on the rewritten DITA rds (resolved document for styling) code.At that time, we introduced a settingset ditausenewrds="on/off"This setting was intended to be temporary.  It was a way for customers to revert to the old code if they found an issue.  Once the issue was fixed, they were expected to change the setting to "on". It is 8 years later, and time to deprecate this setting.  The "old" rds code is not supported, and any issues should be reported to Technical Support for resolution. We expect that starting in Arbortext 8.2, the set ditausenewrds="off" will be a "no-op" and all customers will use the "new" rds. --Patti
