Vuforia Expert Capture

I have observed that parts in imported 3D models (e.g. from Creo Parametric) are displayed in different colors. But the colors that were assigned to the parts in the source systems are not displayed? Is it possible to control this behavior? And how can this be controlled?

Because CAD designs are already being overlaid upon real-world examples, a texture scanning feature would be helpful to have, so we could update our designs with with realistic textures that already have the appropriate dimensions. I'm new to the product, so maybe I have overlooked a similar feature that you already have.

At the moment, this option is always disabled when saving a video. It should remain enabled if it was enabled when the last video was saved.

PTC has already released an app for the Apple Vision Pro (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/onshape-vision/id6476554913)  Is the VEC development team also working on Capture + Vantage app for the Vision Pro?

Submitted on behalf of a customer: Exporting video- We need the ability to export a video from the editor. We will need to translate videos via text to speech in the near future. Right now, if there are any edits that are done within Vuforia or if the expert capture software is utilized we cannot export the videos for editing.

App: Vuforia VantageSoftware Version: 3.13.0Device: iPhone and iPadOS: iOS 17 Hello, I'm having some trouble while doing the Step Check training, everything works fine while going through the "Pass" state, but when I want to train the procedure with the "Fail" state the app displays the message "Tracking is unreliable", I used different devices to ensure it was not a hardware issue. The procedure is for a part that is 2 meters long and has 80 step checks. Thank you!  

I want to know, how to import / use JT files in Vuforia editor.Currently the system response with this error message: The manual doesn't say very much to this topic. The JT file was written with Creo 10. (You'll find the files attached and packed) Thanks in advanceCheerEOMarco 

I have had a couple customers who have asked if it possible to log data as properties. Right now we are using the comments as a work around but it would be helpful if we could specific in the step the name of the property(e.g. Resistance) and maybe units (e.g. ohms) and then the user would be prompted with a text input with the property name already specified.

Vuforia Editor Pass/Fail States Column Renamed in Step Check Settings The column previously named PASS/FAIL STATES in the Step Check Settings table has been renamed to PASS/FAIL CAPTURES. Therefore, instead of displaying the number of training images, the number of captures will be displayed. A capture is comprised of one training of a pass or fail state. For example, each time a new dome of hexagons is shown during Guided training, a new capture starts. A new capture also begins for every execution of a step when Continue Training is enabled. According to the documentation iPadOS does not seem to be supported by the Vantage app.   Of course I know that the app is also available for iPads, but it's important for potential customers to know that in advance. Hello everyone, what's up? I would like to know if PTC provides a ready API of the logged data that is in Insight to feed an external application, if not any idea how to automate this process? Thanks!  

I believe that those users who use Vuforia Vantage in the web browser also have the right to search the list procedures made available to them. At the moment there is just a possibly long list of procedures displayed and users have to scroll to find the procedure they want to use.
