Request for Vuforia CaptureI think that it would be helpful the video being taken with HoloLens to be displayed on HoloLens.(I would like to display the video I am taking with HoloLens in the corner of the HoloLens screen.)

Vuforia Editor Increased Timeout When Uploading Assets to Allow for Larger Files The timeout when uploading files has been increased to allow for larger files (such as 3D models) that may have previously timed out. Public Filter in Left Navigation Pane Renamed The Public filter in the left navigation pane of the asset library has been renamed to Shared with all, and the icon has been updated. Note: The icon will also be updated on the list/tile view of the asset library, as well as in the SHARE window used to share assets/procedures with the entire organization.    

Is there a way to generate an email notification when a procedure is sent for approval/publishing (i.e. I would like my org's designated approver/VEC Manager to receive an email when action is required of them in the Approval Workflow)?

Is there a way to disable devices downloading procedures locally?  

Requesting an improvement for Vuforia Expert Capture:While making instruction videos it would be helpful to be able to have the end users skip directly to certain steps with a method similar to selecting a pass/fail. This would allow for short, temporarily divergent instructions to be given and followed based on alternative scenarios that the end user might encounter. Example:  Step 7: If you have been supplied with an order that requires:                             'x', proceed to step 8, and follow steps 8-11.                             'y', proceed to step 12, and follow steps 12-14.                             'z', proceed to step 15, and follow steps 15-18. At steps 11, 14, & 18, verify completion and proceed to step 19, using a selec

Is it possible to bring the data from Vuforia Expert capture to ThingWorx mashup?As per my understanding Vuforia Expert Capture is on PTC cloud, it doesn't provide any On Premise solution.My requirement is I want to integrate the Vuforia expert capture data like videos, instructions, snaps, photos into ThingWorx mashup. is it possible to do so? i know its possible somehow....how to achieve this?can anyone help me to know more this integration? @sgreywilson

And are using two third party editors to prepare the video prior to upload. We need Pan, Zoom and Blur options within the editor. Also a text to speech option.

Submitted on behalf of the customer: We need to ability to Group the Procedures by Equipment. For example we have 13 Procedures currently tied to the MCD line of equipment. We would like to categorize that under MCD. We have over 300 different types of equipment we will eventually have procedures on and the alphabetical listing will not suffice.

Enhancement Request: I have a customer that would like to be able to log properties while using expert capture. They would like to be able to add a property field (or multiple) to be required to be logged at each step. They are aware they could use comments to accomplish some of this functionality but it is not easy to sort through on the back end or use once it is entered and it is easy for the user to mess up entering data.

Hi, I'm trying to publish a procedure by using vuforia editor. So, It ask me approve a manager in order to get the QR code. After my manager approval also it doesn't publish and didn't showing the QR code to test them in Vantage. Is there any reason? @mghadge @hngo @suji

So I would like to know if anyone has knowledge of how to activate this second globe of guided training, because in my training there is only the most distant globe and does not appear the second globe that has a precision for capturing short distance images.In the image captured from a PTC video, we can see 2 globes.

There will be a planned outage of 4 hours on Saturday, July 1st as part of the Vuforia Expert Capture 3.7.0 release and the initiative to create a more seamless identity management and authentication experience.   We acknowledge the inconvenience and have attempted to schedule for a time of minimal impact.   With the 3.7.0 release, new versions of the Vuforia Vantage and Capture apps will be available. We recommend you update to the latest available on all of your devices. Devices running Vuforia Vantage and Capture 3.6.0 or lower will no longer work.   Also, be sure to update any allow-lists that your IT department maintains for application access. An equipment manufacturer or SI company is trying to provide VEC as a service to their end user.Is it possible to set it so that each customer(end user) does not share content?Even if some premium users are assigned to the customer company, I want to prevent content sharing.Please check if it's possible.

Does anyone have experience with CInema4D (*.c4d) files and getting good results with converting models to .stl or .obj files?  Any tips/tricks would be greatly appreciated.  

Step Check is now available within Vuforia Expert Capture! Authors can now enable Step Check on steps within a procedure that require pass/fail assessment. Images captured during procedure execution are then used to train an AI to recognize when a step in a procedure passes or fails to meet a certain standard.
