Vuforia Expert Capture

Hi,   I am part of multiple orgs, One Org as an Admin and the other Org as a member.    If I log in to the Vuforia Editor, it will highlight the procedure of only the org in which I am a member.   How do I change orgs?   Avinash

I am running into a customer issue where they can log into their VEC Editor portal just fine but then the page is unresponsive. They cannot filter by public, shared, created by me etc.   They have encountered this sporadically but enough to bring it up.   Is there a troubleshooting method I can point them to? Is this a common issue?

Vuforia Expert Capture system maintenance is scheduled for Thursday, October 8th, 2020 from 9 to 11 AM Central Daylight Time (14:00-16:00 UTC).  There will be downtime for up to 30 minutes, and users may experience intermittent service disruption throughout the window.   We apologize for any inconvenience as we understand this is not the most convenient time.  Your patience is very much appreciated as we continue to make improvements to reduce the need for future downtime.

On October 7th an update will be made to the log in process for Vuforia Capture on HoloLens. This change will only affect Vuforia Capture HoloLens users. Users wanting to record Azure Spatial Anchors within their Capture will need to install a new version of the Capture app.  After October 7th, users will not be able to log into the Vuforia Capture app without first updating to version 11.17.219.0 or later. Vuforia Capture version 11.17.219.0 is available for download in the Microsoft App Store on your HoloLens. 

A new build of the Vuforia Capture application is now available on the Microsoft store. Please download and install BOTH the latest Hololens OS update (build 19041.1117) and Capture app (build 11.16.217.0) to resolve previous video corruption issues when capturing a procedure using HoloLens2

I shared a procedure to two different users in VEC. Now I would like to unshare it again but I can not remove those two users from the sharing dialog. There is no remove option available in the user interface.   I can decide between "Read only" and "Can edit". How to remove a user in the "Share" dialog?

how could an OEM, or any company, create a VEC experience, and then transfer it to another company, that also has a subscription?    

Procedures captured using Hololens2 running the latest OS update result in corrupted video files. We are working directly with Microsoft on a fix and will update this thread once the issue has been resolved.   As a temporary workaround, HoloLens2 devices can be reverted back Hololens OS version 18362. Please review the documentation below for instructions:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/hololens/hololens-recovery#clean-reflash-the-device    If your device has not yet been updated or you have successfully reverted back to OS version 18362, you must disable automatic updates. This can be done in one of two ways: Pause updates for up to 35 days in the device settings: Menu -> Settings -> Update & Security -> Advanced Options -> Pause Updates Disconnect your device from Wifi (note: this will prohibit use of Spatial Anchors when Capturing a procedure. Please reference this thread for details on the issue going forward.

In Expert Capture, if I do not add any text to a step, is it possible to make the video area larger, to use all of the screen space?

Videos are not recorded correctly on my HoloLens 2. Only very small mp4 files with a size between 40 and 120 kilobytes are stored. I use the latest Windows version on the HoloLens 2 (19041.1106.arm64fre.vb_release_svc_sydney_rel_prod.200605-1330a.k.a. Windows Holographic, version 2004 - June 2020 Update ) and version 11.11.212.0 of Vuforia Capture. On the HoloLens 1 I can record videos without problems.   [Capture files (zip) are attached.]     What I already tried/checked: Resetting the HoloLens to factory defaults and reinstall Vuforia Capture app. Check for latest app version. Check for latest Windows version. Disabled/Enabled locations. Signed out/in. Deleted the "Vuforia Capture" folder on the file system. Check for sufficient storage space. Restarted the HoloLens 2. Closed all other running apps. I have tried to record only short sequences. I can not try it on a different HoloLens 2 because currently I only have one HoloLens 2.   Is there anybody out there

I would like to know, if there is a way, to have just one step in an experience, and then if that link is embedded into a work station or MES, just that single step/video automatically starts, without the need to select 'start'

can a procedure created with a regular camera be viewed on a Headgear/Realware device? or can a Realware experience be viewed on a tablet?

Is it on the roadmap to give organization possibility to create the Groups of users for easy handling of huge ammount of procedures? Thank you!
