I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 13.0 and Datecode with CPS 13.0.2.5I am trying to perform a Container move operation for documents in Windchill as a part of a cleaning exercise, but it is very slow. each document is taking more than 5 minutes to move.Please note- Publishing & indexing queues are stopped & disabled.

I’m trying to download and install the 30-day free trial of PTC Windchill Risk and Reliability (formerly Windchill Quality Solutions), but I’m encountering an issue when accessing the trial link. When I click on the download link, I receive the following message:“Document Not Found — The web page, PTC Windchill Quality Solutions Evaluation, was retired on September 30, 2025.” Could someone from the PTC team or community please assist with obtaining access to the 30-day trial?My company is evaluating this software for potential purchase and would like to test its functionality before moving forward. @PeterCase

The New community site has way too many bugs.  When you click on a topic it takes to you a blank page to fill in a message.Remove the 80 Character Barrier for String Parameters And the formatting of the screen is awful.   Everything is way too small and too disorganized.  The UI is not at all user friendly. Worst upgrade I have EVER seen.

No, this new look is more modern, but a terrible waste of real-estate. Please make sure that each topic consumes less space on the screen.   And why can't I paste a picture? And how do I get the body of a topic showing?   The attachment shows what I get to asee about this topic.     Luc

Version: Windchill 12.0 Use Case: Custom Windchill Report download simply the template but no data insideDescription: I am trying to modify a custom report. However the Custom Windchill Report downloads simply the template but no data inside on my local Windchill ( hosted on VMWare). Tried adding Sys out statement and getting data on method server logs but still nothing inside the download files. Tried Exporting Importable spreadsheet report and it has data. So probably an issue with custom one but not able to catch it. Any clues folks

WVS 작업 모니터 확인 결과 이전에 썸네일 생성에 실패한 이력은 없었으며 해당 썸네일 클릭 시 '만료된 시각화 데이터'라고 뜹니다. 이 도면뿐 아니라 파트파일(어셈블리X)도 이런 문제가 생기는 것으로 보아 단순히 하위 파트 문제는 아닌 것으로 보이며, 서피스로 만들어진 형상도 아닙니다.(솔리드로 제작) 이런 현상의 원인이 무엇인지 알 수 있을까요? 답변 부탁드립니다. 감사합니다.

Due to some reasons, our Codebeamer has separate internal and external network access addresses. After our Codebeamer was upgraded to V2.2.1.3, when we open the Review Hub, it consistently points to the internal network address and cannot adapt according to the browser's domain name. In the previous version V2.1.0.0, this issue did not exist. How can we make the Review Hub's address change dynamically?

Hi Everyone,Software: Creo Parametric 11.0.5.0. I am working on Migration of Weblink to Creojs. Here I am having doubt in the Topic "Enabling Security Settings" mentioned in CreoJS User Guide.  In my WebLink code, when I opened an html file, I will receive the below PopUp.  But as mentioned in CreoJS user Guide(please see below image), I am not getting any popup for security settings(like shown in above image) in CreoJS.Can someone help me to achieve this? Note:In both Weblink and CreoJs, my html file will be called from local folder only.Example: D:\PTC\Weblink\test.html Thanks

Hey everyone,I am facing the issue that every time I create a new part file, the units are set to imperial in the model properties (first picture). I have changed the configuration file, so metric units are set as a standard (second picture). However, this apparently does not work. Version: Windchill 12.0 Use Case: I have close to 1000 (Engineer to order) products, designs starting from 2006 up to today. Most products are built some are still active. Today I use a spreadsheet to indicate the number of CAD objects in each context, and what is the latest modification date. For each context separately, that requires a separate search and sorting to find the latest modified date. My goal is to decide for each context whether to purge unnecessary iterations and provide vaulting rules to move the physical files to a medium that doesn't need te be included in our backup every day.Description: How do I approach this issue in Windchill's Query Builder ? I can link EPMDocument and Context, but I don't find how to count the number of objects, or how to apply the maximum-function on the Modified date per context...

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: Comparing values between an WTpart attribute and a WTpartUsageLink attribute, in a BuisnessAlgorithm - to use on a calculated value on WTpartUsageLink.Description: Following this procedure: Procedure – Using a BusinessAlgorithm in a Calculated Attribute togehter with this knowledge base: New java algorithm for calculated attributes (BusinessAlgorithm) starting Windchill 11.0  We have a calculated value on a WTpartUsageLink. This should compare an attribute from the WTpartUsageLink and the WTpart that it is linked to. The attribute from the WTpartUsageLink can be passed as a variable in the execute statement, but I have a hard time referencing the attribute from the WTpart.  Sample code or a pointer for referencing an attribute in this use case would be very helpfull. 

Hello,I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.2.17I want to add an alias attribute on the WTPartUsageLink to retrieve the value of a component attribute on a structure.So I created an attribute on the WTPartUsageLink type with the mapping "uses@wt.part.WTPartMaster~masterReference^<Internal name of part type>~<Internal name of attribute>"It works fine and I can see it in the structure, see the attachment.But there's a problem because when there are several iterations of a component, there are several PartUsageLinks and the alias retrieves the same values several times, see the attachment.Do you have a solution for this and what alias should be used?Otherwise, the primary objective is to bring up the value of a component attribute to fill an attribute on the top-level part.For example, if the value of an attribute is set to yes, the top-level part must have an attribute that is also set to yes.(even if there are several yes if several components

Where can I download this tool? I have searched everywhere and can't seem to find it. The furthest I have gotten is: ENGINEERING.com | File Downloads but when you launch the installation launcher it asks for a password... I can't find it anywhere else. Any ideas?

How can I update my MathCad 14 license since I installed a new internal hard drive in my desktop computer?I changed the internal hard drive in my desktop PC.  The new hard drive has a new MAC address so my Mathcad 14 will no longer open and run on the machine.How can I get an  updated license to solve this problem?

Just to start off, I do not believe this to be a bug or anything to do with Windchill, just that we noticed in the workspace browser. The user had changed one of their displays to something other than 100%. After that, the creo embedded browser started acting strange. The user reported that they could not click on the buttons on the toolbar, nothing was happening. This also might be related to multiple monitors, dragging the Creo session to another screen after the scale was changed to something other than 100%. Here is what I noticed: If you put your mouse over the icon, nothing. If you hovered your mouse lower and slightly right, the icon highlighted and you can click that empty space and the icon activates. Weird. Thanks to @Chris3 for cluing us in. I wanted to document for others since I could not find this in the support knowledge base.  Returning to 100% and restarting Creo seemed to resolve the issue. When profiling in the prolog for the Index, which element should be profiled: metadata, Keywords, or indexterm? When publishing to pdf, the profiling on the metadata seems to be ignored. Is that normal?       Bryon
