How can I stop the preview for the Expand feature?

If there's one thing which seems to cost me more time than anything else, it's waiting for Pro/E to preview features, especially Expand. Does anyone know if I can turn off the preview for certain features, or failing that just turn off the whole translucent yellow thing altogether?

in Creo Parametric 1.0, you can use config.pro option dynamic_preview (values ... attached, unattached, no).

In older releases you can turn off check mark on Verify button on the right side dashboard, only (it's my guess).

Except that in practice this doesn't work, because Pro/E forces you to select faces first, then begin the feature - at which point it always preview the feature. Once the preview has been generated you can turn it off, but that's really no use.

I want to change the default settings so that the preview is only shown on demand. The Dynamic_Preview setting in Config.pro doesn't apply to the Expand feature. It probably should. I expect that this is yet another oversight.
