Hello!We have 2 users with 2 different computers reporting the same issue with their prime files.I don’t know if it has something to do with the latest august Windows 11 Cumulative update (KB5121003)?The issue started happening yesterday after the users updated their Windows 11.When we try to Save as PDF or use the Print function we get the same errors. And we have tried several PDF printers. It only creates a .PDF file with 0kb in size. I uploaded 2 files that we are experiencing this issue with.

We are currently considering how best to design a frame using Creo Multibody, and we would like to ask for your advice on the most appropriate workflow.From a design perspective, the frame can essentially be considered as one box-shaped structure. Therefore, we would prefer to design the entire frame as a Multibody Part rather than creating and managing multiple individual Parts from the beginning.However, from a manufacturing perspective, the actual frame is divided into four sections: the top, bottom, left side, and right side. Each section is manufactured and welded separately, and these four sections are eventually assembled to form the completed box-shaped frame.This creates a difference between the way we would like to design the frame and the way it is actually manufactured.At the moment, we are not sure which approach would be the most appropriate in Creo: Keep the frame as a single Multibody Part throughout the design process and somehow use the individual bodies for manufactu

In Creo 3D MBD, when a dimensions is created (Annotate->Dimension) a Select Reference window will popup.Default options active is Select a surface means you can select only surfaces.Designers would like to Default to be active Select a reference means you can select even edge, planes, axis or surfaces without switching between Entities or Surfaces.It’s frustrated for end users always when a dimensions is created to change this Reference type.     

When saving a copy of a part in Creo Parametric give the option to ‘save a copy and open’ This option is available when saving a copy of assemblies, why not parts?

It is said that in order to run PTC Mathcad Prime, you must have the latest Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime 8.0.x package for Windows x64 installed on your computer. At the same time .NET 8 end of life (EOL) is November 10, 2026 – after this date, Microsoft issues no further security patches or bug fixes. EOL means real risk: unpatched vulnerabilities, compliance failures... Am I missing something? It seems rather serious. It looks as if I have to skip the latest version. Does Mathcad Prime v12 work with .NET 10?

Hello, I have the same request as this thread made a long time ago :Model Parameter = Today's Date | CommunityAnyone out there know how to set a model parameter equal to Today's Date?Specifically, I'm looking for a way to set the date of a parameter equal to today's date during the creation of a new part or assembly.There was a proposition to  add the parameter (&todays_date) into your template.I cannot make a parameter named “&todays_date”I created a parameter named “DESIGN DATE” with the value “&todays_date” in the part template. When I create a new part with this template, the parameter remains “&todays_date”.Is it me who does not make this right or is there another way ? 

I am using Windchill Risk and Reliability Enterprise Edition (Formerly Relex) Release 11.1 and Datecode with CPS CPS02 We run the Enterprise Edition on a server. We no longer have a dedicated IT application person on staff so we've lost our application expertise. The issue I'm having is with a project backup. I'm able to select the project I want to backup, go through the backup steps and get the message that the backup completed successfully. But, we can't find the backup file. It's not stored locally on my PC and our IT person wasn't able to locate it on the server. Knowing where the backup file would be saved, the file name and extension would help with the search. Here are the errors that I faced No error messages.

Hi all.Can someone please help me with this please?I have a part in my assembly that i want to add grease grooves to the bore 6mm wide x 3mm deep.I’ve tried sketching on vertical plane and then projecting the sketch onto the bore surface - which works, but then i cant extrude that projected sketch.I’m using Creo 11.Thanks

Trying to get free version of modeling express to work get proxy error and have in the past always been able to manually request activation key. Currently that just gets a cloudflare error which seems to indicate a server error on PTC's side. Please help. Can't find an email. Support appears to be lost.

Hello,How can I make the machines I have visible in the milling work center assembly tab in the milling environment? I have machine assembly files downloaded from Grabcad and from this link (Article - CS314559 - Information about Tool motion Simulation and library of Basic machine assemblies to show Machine Kinematics within Pro/NC). Many CAM software programs show machine movement, could you help me with how to do this in Creo?

Reference topic - Please solve this issue as I have been a user of the FREE version, Creo Elements Direct Express, since 2012 as while training us on the full Creo which my company was using. My company asked us to get the free version do we could learn when not at work.I use this for my woodworking hobby and this "less than full version" is ideal for my hobby!Best regards, Hans Sitte 

Hi!To semplify the mesh with beams, i use “Prismatic element control” and meshing is very fast  I can not use “prismatic element control” if the surface is inclined In this second case, without any control, meshing take a lot of time Maybe, you know other way to speed up meshing phaseThank you Best Regards

Hello. I'm using Mathcad Prime 10.0.1.0 and I'm having trouble saving to PDF. Neither the built-in PDF export nor Microsoft Print to PDF works. I found this thread, but the solution seems to apply only to version 12, not version 11 or earlier.
