New orientations in instance part

I have generic part and can create new orientation views. But why I can't create them in instance parts? The same situations with assembles. What if I don't see something in generic model and can show it only in instance? For this operation I need write to paper all degrees how I rotate instance model from one of the standard orientation, after that switch to generic, repeat all rotations and only after that I save new orientation. Why? It must be human way.
