Dear ptc community, I am trying to plot a solved parameter of nonlinear equations (J) vs x (a variable that can range from 0 to 0.5. I have tried to plot it, but I got only a point rather than a continuous line plot. Can you please help me with it? This is an annoying fringe issue. But I have tables with notes (notes have two lines of string values) and sometimes when I update a string value the note doesn't update in the BOM automatically. Nor does it update when I update tables. It seems to only update when I go to modelling and make sure it's regenerated and go to annotations click on the note and look at the text in text editor and then update tables.  Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Maybe next time it happens I'll check whether it prints the correct info and creo is just showing the old info.

Version: Windchill 13.0   Use Case: After Revise the new Rev isn't showing as latest Description: I am testing an upgrade to Windchill 13 and have this weird issue where after a Revise, the new revision isn't showing as latest.  Anyone with any ideas?    

We had an owl moon last night (Full moon with snow on the ground). Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: Need to delete old representations. DeleteRepUtil could be used, but how to find the input OIDs for it.Description: Does anyone have a report or query to list "Copied from" representations on EPMDocuments and preferably their OIDs to be used as input for the DeleteRepUtil on the server? I'm looking to delete also old "Derived from" to restore disk space and there's some handy report provided by PTC, but I noticed that didn't pick the "Copied from" (which would be more important to get rid of as it's incorrect data on the object..). We use WTParts, just mentioning as I learned that may affect how the reports work.

I have an old version of Wildfire 5 still running on a very old laptop. I would like to install the software on my new laptop as the oridgal laptop is on its last legs. But because I am no longer on maintenance this appears to be impossible. Login to my account then go to support and I am hit the same stone wall, you are not on maintenance. You cannot proceed bla bla bla. Is there a solution? Please help.

Dear Team,We operate in an environment where several industries use Creo Parametric for the creation and editing of appearances applied to parts and wires. We are currently using Creo Parametric version 12.0.2.0.We would like to suggest an improvement related to the organization of custom appearances. Currently, all created appearances are grouped under the “My Appearance” tab, which mixes appearances intended for wires, solid models, and sheet metal. This limitation directly affects organization and workflow efficiency.Our suggestion is to allow the creation of new custom tabs or categories within the Appearance Manager, enabling users to separate appearances by application type (wires, solids, sheet metal, among others).This functionality would significantly improve ease of use when creating and editing appearances, as well as provide better color organization. As a direct result, it would also help reduce design time, leading to increased productivity and cost savings for companies.

Currently using Creo 11.  I've found some posts, but no solutions.  Is there a way to automatically show external cosmetic threads in their typical format such as 1/4"-20 instead of 0.250-20?  There was a post from years ago about editing the .hol table, but this method doesn't work as somewhere along the line PTC changed the format of the hole table.  Now in the table, there is only "BASIC_DIA".  If you edit the table to say 1/4 or "1/4", a value of 0 shows up in the hole note.

Hi there! I want to get one value interpolated from the parameter, obtained from the calculation routine.The goal is to perform interpolation of the curvature value Curvature (Alef, the second output's result) as a function of the bending moment value (Moment, the first output's result) from the given value of M_fact. By using the "linterp" function, I got stuck with the error message:"The elements in this vector must be in ascending order". After reviewing the relevant topic on the PTC forum, the only possible solution was to start the list of matrices at 1, yet my attempt to set ORIGIN:=1 hadn't worked. I use the Prime 10.0.0 version of the software. The file with the problem is attached. I'd be very appreciative of any assistance and advice regarding the issue.

Hide that option from just that one context.Description: I have solved this before with an OIR for that object that calls out a none existing Lifecycle. It has worked but now for some reason, It does not. Wondering who has implemented this?I did at one med device to allow pre-production CAD items to be promoted to Production when no data had changed if they provided appropriate supporting (validation) documents in the change. Why:Forcing a revision creates work that is not needed for the data authors and approvers.We use the same rev scheme and we can watermark / stamp (cover page) to show the effectivity and state.

Hi everyone, I’m working with the Grid Layout in Vuforia Studio and I’m trying to dynamically show or hide specific rows. The problem I’m facing: I cannot dynamically change the row or column class. I also cannot set their height/size to 0px at runtime. Simply hiding the widget inside the cell doesn’t help, because the row and column space remains visible. My goal is simple:I want all rows to exist in the layout, but I want to toggle their visibility (visible/invisible) without leaving empty space. Is there any workaround or method to: hide a full row in a Grid Layout? collapse its height (similar to CSS display: none)? or dynamically modify grid definitions at runtime? Any suggestions or best practices would be greatly appreciated.Thank you!

Hi, i hope to be in the right place for my question.I'm playing with Creo Live and i'm doing some CFD analisys on a mecnanical structure, i've manged to have the simulation running (it's similar to the wind tunnel example file).I was trying to get the total forces on a body or a set of surfaces but i have zero cluse on how to setup a measurent.Any help is wellcome.

  hello!i tried downloading creo 12 from the url you provided, but it only has the option to choose a license file. I can't enter a code , its not like in the pdfim also doing this just to get a student license for creo 8.0 in the second screenshot is the files i got from the download 

Hi all,I'm working in Creo Parametric Mechanism to model a pinion and crown gear assembly with axial/radial offset between their axes. This is not a standard intersecting-bevel gear setup — the pinion and crown gear must mesh with a deliberate offset between their axes.However, when I attempt to apply the built-in Bevel Gear Connection, Creo throws: "The references for bevel gear connection are not coplanar”.How can I simulate bevel gear kinematics when the pinion and crown gears are offset (i.e., non-coplanar axes)? 

I need to retrieve the X, Y, Z, and C offsets of all components in an assembly relative to the main part’s coordinate system. Ideally, I’d like to export these values into an external file (CSV or TXT).Is there a built-in method or mapkey/API/Toolkit solution to automate this?

Hello,Would it be possible to request an enhancement to ModelCheck?Specifically, I would like ModelCheck to be able to verify the Bend Allowance settings. For example, I would like to check that for sheetmetal parts, the “Bend allowance driven by” option is correctly set to be driven by the material.Even further, I would like to validate that the Sheetmetal Preferences are consistent with the smtdsnsetup.smd configuration file.Thank you in advance if this request could be considered.Adrien Blazy
