MatchCAD14 won't uninstall or run on my Windows 7

When my PC changed over to Windows 7, MatchCAD14 was installed but I believe that it never really ran. So when I try to uninstall it I get a "Please wait while the Windows configures MatchCAD 14 - Gathering required information" and it gets stuck there about 80% done. After waiting few hours when I hit cancel then it gets stuck on "Cancelling ... Gathering required information..". I have rebooted the machine but to no avail. Any suggestions?
