Hi Folks. Ive been struggling for a while to try and create a textured powder coat finish (in WF5.0 with ARX).

Cant seem to get close to it.

Any tips on creating this type of material?

or

Is there a standard material / texture that could be used, that would allow me to just change the RGB for colour variations?

Image attached to show you what Im trying to acheive - the colour doesnt matter at this point - Im just trying to achieve the textured look.

Thanks in advance

Mark

Hi Mark,

How about downloading some texture that looks like what you need from internet and creating bump map for it. You just copy that same file, apply some black/white filter and invert colors.

Hope this helps.

P.S. if bumps look too strong just soften the contrast of bump map.

Hi Mark download the file attach to this document, another option is to use the cast bump already included in ARX, had the same result as powder coated finish.
