convert a solidworks file to Creo

I need to convert some files in solidworks 2D with .slddrw extensions to CREO. Is there any PTC program that can do this file conversion? Let's migrate everything to CREO now, I wanted a way to take everything solidworks to CREO

there is not an out of the box way to move solidworks (or any other) drawings directly to creo. You can get the parts/assemblies but not the drawings.

There are some third party data conversion services.

What are these third-party services? how would you fix it?

Years ago I looked in to converting UG files (parts/assemblies/drawings) in to Pro/E for an entire product line that the company had bought. Had a few quotes. All of the services were actually people doing the conversions, nothing was automated. I don't know if anything has changed over the years. I don't have any current names or contacts anymore.

We ended up converting the files on an as needed basis, using our in-house engineering. For short term solutions, we would simply export the models from one software to the other until we needed to make drawing changes and at that point, we would do the full model/drawing conversion. It was the most cost efficient way for us based on what we needed to do.
