Hi @Nandha

Thank you for your question.
I’d like to recommend to bring more details and context to your initial inquiry.  You could add things like:

  1. Your current Windchill setup and version?
  2. What are your primary goals for integrating S1000D schema files into Windchill?
  3. Do you have any existing documentation or guidelines that you are following for this integration?
  4. Have you encountered any specific challenges or errors during the integration process?
  5. What are the expected outcomes or benefits you hope to achieve with this integration?

It also helps to have screenshot(s) to better understand what you are trying to do in your process.  This will increase your chances to receive meaningful help from other Community members.

Thanks & Regards,

Thank you for your response! Here’s a more detailed overview of my situation regarding the integration of S1000D schema files into Windchill version 13:

  1. Current Windchill Setup and Version: I am using Windchill version 13, and new to integrating external schema files.

  2. Primary Goals for Integration: My main goal is to streamline the documentation process by incorporating S1000D schema files into Windchill. I aim to enhance the management of technical publications

  3. Existing Documentation or Guidelines: I have some internal documentation that outlines our current processes for managing technical data, but I am not following any specific guidelines for S1000D integration yet.

  4. Specific Challenges or Errors: We are in development stage.

Hi @Nandha

I know only the Arbortext Editor with the schema you are talking about.

The Arbortext Editor works with Windchill where the configuration for the schema is done by dita configuration.

Then you can work with Arbortext where the documentation is prepared and saved in Windchill

But in your case I'm not sure what you are going to integrate. External application, what is purpose of the integration ? Moving the physical files from external system to the windchill?

You should specify what is your goal and some perspective view of your needs.
