Password Reset Mail Server is not working in organization entity.

Hi,

I am trying to use Reset Password functionality of Organization entity. i have assigned Mail Server thing template for Password Reset Mail Server

But during reset password it’s giving error : "Unable to Send Message: Domain contains illegal character".

Mails server thing template's configuration is correct as “Send Message” service working perfectly and sending email.

Can anyone please help?

What does your domain look like?

Does it contain anything other than the letters A-Z, the digits 0-9 and hyphen - ?

I have same problem.

"Unable to Send Message: Domain contains illegal character"

Parameter "from" it's not valid.  Email From: [donotreply@organizationName.twx]

How to change it ?

Just a tiny update here - I've created a ticket with the devs regarding this specific issue, and I'll update the thread once I hear back more from them.

Since the "From" field of the reset email uses the Organization name, verify that there are no illegal characters in the Org. name.

By illegal characters, I mean restrict it to letters A-Z, digits 0-9, and hyphens.

At this time, there is no way to change the "From" field of the reset email.

We have noted this issue and are looking at a fix.
