Read Only Properties and application data streams.

I am trying to amend the read-only Properties of an Existing thing, how do I gain write access. Will this effect my data streams.

Hi Kyle, from the composer you should be able to still change the Property Design as well as the Property Values.

Depending on what you are changing, it may have downstream impact.
It all depends on what you are writing to the stream and how.
If you are changing the property values, that probably has no impact on a datastream, unless you are doing some sort of value evaluation before entering.
If you are changing the BaseType of a property that can have major impact.
