Thingworx 5.4 Import issue

We have upgraded ThingWorx from 5.1 to 5.4 but after upgrading when we try to import the stuff created earlier in 5.1 version, it shows the message as import successful but I am not able to see the stuff - mashups, thingshapes, datshapes, datattables etc.

What could be the issue?

    Have you tried restarting the server? Sometimes that helps.

    Yes I tried restarting the tomcat service and the server as well but still the issue persists

    Hi Suraj,

    Before you deployed 5.4, did you remove the old ThingWorxStorage and ThingWorxBackupStorage directories? Here is a simple list of steps to follow when upgrading to a newer version:

    • Undeploy old version of ThingWorx
    • Remove ThingworxStorage and ThingworxBackupStorage directories
    • Deploy new version of ThingWorx
    • Install required Extensions
    • Import old Entities and Data
