Deadline notification
As I see in 9.1, overdue task notification (deadlines) gets emailed but only to the task responsible owner, one person. We would like this sent out to the task holder. In the case of a parallel signoff, all workitem task owners. How would you design a work around? BTW, has this changed in 10.X?
Option 1: Parallel sync robot that stars and periodically checks, emails users when task past deadline, part of workflow.
Option 2: Automated report that runs against all Open tasks and emails any user that has a task past the deadline. Run from user client end as cron or windows task job.
Option 3: Custom Queue job on schedule queue that runs daily. Systems generated from the server side. Same concept, looks at all open tasks, filters for overdue and emails task owners.
Which IYHO would work best? Anyone done this before?
