Project Link downloading project plan in "ppp" format instead of "mpp".

Question

When I try downloading a Project Plan its getting downloaded in PPP format, but MS Project sees that in mpp format.

I have installed and resinstalled PTC Plug in, and checked all the Windchill Preference manager variables. Please help.

I used to be able to access it up till a week back, then after my laptop got reimaged I am seeing these issues.I am stuck as I cannot do changes to the project anymore.

Yes, this is correct. We do not reformat the plan into a Microsoft Project MPP file. The output from Windchill is an XML file. If you are not using the ProjectLink Plug-in to read this file directly into Microsoft Project, you can change the extension of the file to XML and open with MS Project.
