Question
SAK app......
OK, I am attempting to run a SAK app from a remote computer but I am running into challenges. I was looking on the exploder and found a couple of questions along this line, but I think I'm still missing something basic. So, for the naming service static factory method, I need to provide the namingService (got it, I believe). Then the properties file. Since I don't want to access the properties file directly (no direct path currently), the questions I have.....
1) I see the nomenclature of newInstance (from the adapter guide). How do I determine the ldap connection string (resources) post-installation?
2) For that matters, how do I get the namingService name (vm) post-install?
3) Is there a protected URL that I can access (I would assume not, security and all, but....?)?
Sorry if these are basic questions, just trying to wrap my mind around my external app......
