workflow approval notification

I would like to have an email notification that lists the Resulting End Item objects that are on a promotion approval. Anyone know how to do this?

Hi Russ,

Someone sent this (see attachment) my way through this list, so there is a thread out there somewhere (thanks someone).
I did a similar thing on our Promotion Request workflow. I used this code and created a notification bot to send an email notification listing the objects in the Promotion Request. You should be able to do the same for a Change Resulting Objects.
*There was a Windchill conf setting to enable some Java usage for this.

Thanks. I found the conf setting and that part worked. We have not gone live yet, so we have email turned off. Is there a way to test/see an email example without turning email completely on?

One option is to use the Cognos Change Notice summary report which will get you all of the Resulting objects and lots of detail about them. We introduced automation in 10.0 M20 (I think it was M20 - but need to verify). This will create a PDF file and attach it back to the change. You would then need to create a link or add the attachment to the workflow - but generating the report is automated.
