4-sided tangent boundary blend issues

I am using Creo 6.0 and often have issues with these 4 sided tangent boundary blends. The error says it fails to create tangency in the corner. Is there a reason for this? I understand the bounding curves have to be tangent to neighboring surfaces, and I even experimented with making the curves tangent to the whole neighboring surface and not just the neighboring surface parting line. I have tried 3 sided boundary blends but it often got tight in 1 corner and failed.

The most likely reason for the failure is that the boundaries selected are not G1+ continuity in the areas required to make the surface tangent, without a model to query it is difficult to diagnose. If you post a model, then someone will likely be able to find the root cause of the issue.

Keep in mind that in a corner the tangent conditions (of the boundaries) are required in more than one direction in the context of what you are building.

Hi,

if you can't upload your model, at least display the Gaussian curvature of the adjacent surfaces... I'm just curious to see what I'll see.
