add pos_nr to the same part in an assembly

To all,

 

I am looking for a way to assign, in an assembly, the same pos_nr needed in GPLM / WindChill, for BOM structures, without needing to do it each time for the same component. In the images below, I would need to pick in the pos_nr column for each one, change to Integer, give the value and then designate them. I am looking for a way that I can easily add it to all of them at the same time. We are finding it time consuming to have to do each one individually.

 

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

if you want to create pos_nr as a component parameter, then you're out of luck. Requested functionality is not available OOTB. You have to figure out a way to do it yourself ... or have a special Toolkit application developed that will have the given functionality.

    I was able to get what I needed to be able to assign the pos_nr at the component level, in an assembly, when there are multiple occurrences of them.
