Adding dimension while drawing

Is it possible to type the dimension f.e. on a circle while im drawing it?

Because in Creo 1.0 it was possible when i clicked on the symbol and set the dimension to e.g. "60" it changed it and i could place it on the center for example.

When sketching circle weak dimension will appear after placing circle which can modify at any point in time and it was same in previous versions as well. But when sketching Circle in drawing, it will allow to define the radius when creating circle.

So, there's really no way to type in a length or diameter/radius while I'm drawing a line or a circle? Feels like that should be an easy setting to turn on.

Some other CAD platforms have that function. Creo does not.

so, is this still like that or is there an option to activate dimensioning before placing circles and other geometry?

This definitely needs improvement; the drawing module experience needs to be enhanced.

Create an IDEA to let the PTC know you would like this functionality to be added to CREO.

There is always more to learn.

They have added the config setting “sketcher_auto_scale_dimensions yes” in the config that allows you to start your sketch proportionally and it will scale the sketch with the first dimension changed.
