Adding general notes from a Combined State part to a drawing template

I would like to create a drawing template that pulls in notes that have been created in the Combined State model file, much the same way we can automatically pull in drawing views from the model file into the drawing.  All my attempts to do this have failed. It seems like I can only pre-load pre-typed notes, rather than have the drawing pull in notes from the Combined State model file.  Does anyone know of a way to accomplish this?

Hi

As much as I understand the benefits and the analogy between views and notes, I believe this is not part of Creo Parametric functionalities.

 

If I understand correctly, you would like to define Note Templates in the 3D that could be pushed to drawing templates.

 

For the reason that combined views and Model Based Design purpose is to replace ultimately the model + drawing combination (for all the discrepancies that Tech Support can list for the past 40 years), Note template are not part of Creo Parametric functionalities.

You can still file an enhancement request or before that file Tech Support case for confirmation.
