Animation capture fail

I am trying to animate a mechanism for a presentation but I keep getting a warning that says "Capture Warning: Capture failed due to compression failure". This only occurs if I enable "Render Frames". If I disable this option the capture will work but the quality/resolution is terrible.

Anyone know what would cause this issue? I can't find anything online related to this error.
