Automation/ Parametric Options Creo

I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.7.0 I am attempting to automate the Fix Indexing process in a Creo drawing for multiple components within an assembly by assigning RPT_INDEX values through relations at the assembly level. The goal is to update the BOM item numbering and sequence automatically in a single operation. for Here are the errors that I faced after assigning and verifying the relations, the BOM table does not rearrange according to the specified RPT_INDEX sequence upon regeneration. Additionally, the RPT_INDEX values are not consistently reflected against the intended part numbers, resulting in incorrect item sequencing within the BOM. We would like to understand whether this behavior is due to a Creo limitation, configuration requirement, or software issue, and seek guidance on achieving fully automated Fix Indexing through relations.
