Is there any best practice for exporting 3D Models with customers, partners, providers?

- any specific format to be considered?

- any specific way to not provide all the details for this 3D Models (intellectual Property) but enough details so that customers and partners can work with those models within their own systems?

We actually create a solid Shrinkwrap model by filling all the internal details that we need to protect and then convert that shrinkwrap model to a .step file and share with customers.
