Burr & Break Edge Tolerance annotation in drawing

(Using Creo 7.0.5)

 

What would be the easiest and most clever way to annotate Burr & Break Edge Tolerance in a drawing?

 

I have these 20+ year old drawings that currently is being re-drawn from newly made 3D-models. In the  old ones it's been annotated like this:

A more common (modern?) way seems to be using a "corner" symbol followed by the tolerance. The symbol is quite similar to the straight angle symbol found in Unicode:

The technical fonts in Creo (font, isofont, iso30985font etc) doesn't include this symbol, so it can't be included in the annotation. My current solution is adding a separate textframe containing only this symbol, putting it in front of the tolerance:

It "works", but I hope there is a better way?

You can create all of the versions you need, various orientations, in one symbol using the group feature.  You just need to pick the correct group options when placing the symbol.  Here is one with lot of options defined.

The easiest way is to do it with a note that applies to the part. This will avoid adding symbols all over the drawings.

This is of course "easy", but as this 0.1 annotation only applies for two specific corners I would still have to use leaders of some kind to point them out. So, typing "Break edge tolerance" with leaders does not seem to be a clever way instead of a leader with a "∟0.1". It would only require more space on the drawing.

You could make your own symbol.  It can include several different variations and allow text entry.  Attached is a sample custom symbol that we use.

    I tried this using the instructions here:

    It works reasonably, but it's hard to get the rotation and text-alignment to work in a flexible way. As you can see in the image below, where I have rotated the symbol 270 degrees, the text (an editable note within the symbol) doesn't position itself very well (I have tried various combination of settings for rotation behavior and this seems to be the best). I will probably also need to create a mirrored version where the text is right-aligned.
