Cetol 6 Sigma vs PTC Creo Tolerance Analysis Extension

We have Cetol but wanted to know if there is any advantages or loss of functionality to going to PTC Creo Tolerance Analysis Extension?

I believe Creo tolerance analysis ext.  is only 1 D. The full CE-tol can analyze the impact of geometric variations in 3D.

Yes - Mats is correct, Creo TAX is only 1-dimensional and CeTOL is 3D. Creo TAX is written by the same poeple who created CeTOL, so the underlying calculations are very similar. Post-processing is similar as well, but without as much detailed information. Creo TAX has the ability to conduct very good studies in 1D.
