I am using Creo Parametric Release 11.0 and Datecode11.0.1.0

Hi!

We are CD6, a company in Spain.

I need 2 solutions about the program. My company use Creo for design pieces with 3d. One of this problems is when I change the inches to milimeters, always need go to the change and put this. I prefer to put this for 1 time and if I close and next on this program or the computer, always have this change permanent and don't go to the change and repeat this every day.

The other thing is when I do the plans in 2d, always have the third angle projection and in Spain use the first angle. This is other problem for me and for the company because the other companies need the first angle. Can I change this?

Thanks for all,

Nil CG

Modify the drawing setup file for existing drawings:

FILE -> PREPARE -> DRAWING PROPERTIES and change the option PROJECTION_TYPE to first_angle

For new drawings to be created with this you need to read the drawing setup file by setting up the config.pro option "drawing_setup_file". This will read the setup for newly created drawings. Obviously, you need to save this "standard" setup file with the settings you want to use.

You also have the option of creating drawing templates: Define Your CAD Templates | Creo Parametric | PTC

For the units, see this thread: change default unis in creo drawing - PTC Community

Are you using start parts and start assemblies when creating new models?

Set those to mm vs inch then it is done.

A search on "start parts metric" yeilded good results....

    Does this work for you?
