configure creo7

Hi, I'm using Creo2 for many years.
So, I have my config.pro, my templates, materials...
A whole folder with configuring files.
I've just installed Creo7, what a big step !
So I'm wondering if I can reuse my configuration  files or must I to modify them ?
Any advice, explanations on this ?
Of course, a lot of mapkeys will probably not work anymore.
But, templates, setting, materials, colors... ???

PTC recommends that you start with a clean slate with every install although in practice almost no one does.

 

Everything (minus mapkeys) should continue to work. You should check if any of your config options are depreciated. You might want to check out Olaf Corten' site:

Obviously there are likely enhancements that you may want to consider. Read up on the what's new help documentation.
