Continue Option for All Affected Components During Drag Components

When the Drag Components command is used in a multi-level assembly with mechanism connections, opened through Windchill PLM, the user is prompted to select either Check Out or Continue for the affected CAD objects.

Selecting Continue at the top-level assembly does not apply the same selection to the subassemblies and components involved in the mechanism. If Continue has not been selected for any affected object at a lower level, the Drag Components command either prevents the movement or does not perform it correctly. As a result, the user must manually search through the assembly tree to identify the level for which Continue has not been selected.

To prevent this issue, we request an option such as “Continue for All Affected Components” within the Drag Components command. This option should apply Continue to all affected subassemblies and components in a single action.
