Count number of closed loops

Hi All,

I've created a UDF which calculates the cutting length for a sheetmetal part. This I'm adding to the drawing for manufacturing information. It is done by creating a intersect curve on the model and with a measure the full length of this curve is calculated. Now I would like to have the number of closed loops in this feature calculated so I can add this information for the supplier as well. With this they know exactly how much they have to start/stop their cutting machine.

Does somebody here knows how to do this?
