Creating multiple Cross Sections across long Part

Hi everyone,

I am doing a drawing for a 6 cylinder crankshaft and I need to show Cross sections for all lubrication holes along the crankshaft axis. The holes are always normal to crankshaft axis, but at different locations along the crankshaft axis. Is there any way to select a plane which would serve as a reference plane to create multiple cross sections paralel to that plane but with offset dimension. Also, would it be possible to place the created cross sections directly below the parent view and show the cut position with a line (instead of arrows in parent view)?

Thanks ahead!

Try this for what you describe which will create a pattern of the section.

Consider this which might suit your needs:

From your description it seems that a single offset section may show all of the holes in a single section. Without geometry to reference it is a guess on my part. In drawing mode, you can place the section view at a position of your choosing.
