Creo 10 how to import a saved Drawing Sketch

We just switched from Creo 7 to Creo 10. There used to be a way to import a saved drawing sketch into a new drawing. I can’t locate that function in Creo 10. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @AZ_Six_Shooter

Not sure, but looking at description “Import Drawing/Data” or “Copy from Other Drawing” under Layout tab in drawing can help.

Thanks.

I don’t know really what you want or need to do, but I thoroughly dis-like sketching within drawings. I will typically create a part and create a sketch within the model. I can then add the part file to any drawing I need to show that sketch in.

You could likely to this with a sketch  (file -new-sketch), but I didn’t realize that the first time I did this. I just use a part to control my drawing sketches.
