Question

CREO 2.0 M100 TOL_MODE CONFIG??

I am trying to make it so I have my tolerance option in my config file set to yes, but when I do this all my dimensions show with limits. I would like to change that setting to NOMINAL so I don't have to edit every dimension just to show one tolerance. I checked my config options and saw there was a tol_mode setting with the little red NO circle (this was set to limits). I am assuming that the option was not functioning properly, so I deleted the option and it will not allow me to add it back in to my config settings. I did some more checking and tried to add the setting to my drawing properties menu to no avail. Did PTC get rid of this option so now i "get" to edit every dimension value so I can show the one tolerance that I was shooting for?

Thanks,

Tim

Yes. It was deleted in Creo 1. It's listed in the config options doc for WF5 but not C1. Not sure if they replaced it with something else.

Creo 2.0, M100

Open a drawing and go to File, Prepare, Drawing Options, Change - in the dimensions area you will find this option that would save in your drawing .dtl file - it affects newly created dimensions, not sure about Shown ones

Hope this helps

Thanks for all your responses! I had our chief engineer change our start part to include the default_tolerance_mode so we don't have to fuss with it on any new parts from here on out.
