Creo 7.0 - Local section spline not appearing on original view

I created a local section view on a model back view and I can't get the spline that demarcates the edges of the section view to show up. The spline only appears when I have the dialogue box open for editing the view. As soon as I close out the box, the spline disappears but the section remains. I would like the spline to remain on the view. How can I do this?

I can't recreate the part at this time so I ended up adding a spline sketch that follows the spline used to create the local section. This accomplishes the problem I was looking to solve.

Hi,

your model contains surfaces. I am not able to remember how Creo works in such situation.

Suggestion:

  • Create part containing solid extrude feature and cross section.
  • Then create drawing containing view with local section.

What do you see?
