CREO Cabling BoM

Hi,

I was creating a drawing for the cabling which was done in 3D(CREO 10). While trying to create BoM using repeat region I was not able to include spools as item in BoM. Can anything be done so that the BoM contains spool details also as items and quantity be the total length of each spools required.

I was able to create an additional table with spool details but was not able to combine both.

Hi,

At least on your from-to table you can add the spool name and the length with following report parameters.

These report parameters are shown on the table from left to right...

&harn.run.name
&harn.run.from.conn.name
&harn.run.cond.from.pin.name
&harn.run.cond.to.conn.name
&harn.run.cond.to.pin.name
&harn.run.spool.name
&harn.run.cond.spool.COLOR
&harn.run.len[.0]

CBL1 and CBL2 are both the same multiple conductor cable with 4 conductors.

We also use a separate table that has the total usage of specific spool with the manufacturer info and the product numbers.

One thing I miss in creo is to have the spools as a WTPart in PDM harness BOMs. At least at the moment we do not have that feature (as a standard feature).

Hi Lars,

Thanks for the reply, I was able to create the from-to table.

So the standard Creo don't have option to combine both BoM & Spools table right.
