Hi @vrajan

Thank you for your question!

I’d like to recommend to bring more details and context to your initial inquiry. For example:

  • What Shrinkwrap type are you using (e.g., surface subset, solid, automatic)? Have you tried different types?
  • Are there specific parts or features in the model that tend to cause the overlap? If so, what kind of geometry do they involve?
  • How complex is the assembly or part you're trying to shrinkwrap? Are there many small or tightly packed components?

Please add screenshot(s) to better understand what you are trying to do in your process.

Please refer to this guideline to make your questions more likely to receive a quick and useful answer.

I am trying to shrinkwrap an assembly containing quilts and solid parts

I tried all options (e.g., surface subset, solid, automatic)

Hi

this error message lead to some articles that pertain to disparities in accuracy and overlapping geometry.

Here is what you can try :

  • Issue can be caused by different model accuracies for each of the components. Hence check that the accuracy is the same for all components and/or
  • Check the geometry errors > Info > Geometry Cheks
