Question

Creo working - video sharing

Hi alls,

One of my client asked me if it's possible to share a Creo screen in live for speaking about a part I'm designing.

What would be a software for doing that ?

Skype ??? anything else ?

I'm suspecting that 3D display (with accelerated graphic card) should be a problem via web connection.

No easy to test by myself before visio-conference we have to plan...

Thanks for any advice.

Dom

You would be surprised but most WebEx type programs work just fine.  I use join.me or Skype most of the time.

Hi Dominique,

Here in Tech Support, when we need to do a screen sharing with the customer, we use WebEx.  There are others, as suggested by Brian.

WebEx works pretty well, but you can use others as per your preference.

Thanks,

Amit

Hi,

we use Teamviewer. Of course display quality is questionable and response time depends on connection speed.

i realize this is an old topic but using Microsoft TEAMS i've noticed a fairly significant slow down on large assys thru screen sharing on MS Teams.  Activating a sub assy can take a few minutes while only takes seconds when im not screen sharing.
