CSV table separated by commas and not spaces

Hello,

I have been trying to add an excel table into a creo drawing and when I import the csv file into the drawing the data is separated by commas and I get only one-column table. Does anybody know how to fix this so that I get all the columns and a table that looks like to one I have in excel?

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

Thank you for your answer, however, I can't paste excel cells into my creo drawing (I am using Creo 7, 0.7.0)

do you know why this happens?

Thank you,

Hi,

did you apply setting from https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS355947 ?

Creo 7.0.7.0 & Excel 2016 on my PC works as expected. See video.

Hi,

on my PC I applied setting from https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS355947 .

In Creo 9.0.0.0 I am able to:

  • create empty Excel workbook in Creo drawing
  • open Excel file outside Creo
  • select cells
  • CTRL+C
  • double-click table in Creo drawing
  • CTRL+V

I do not need to export/import csv file.
