Delete a column in a BOM table

We have a BOM table that includes a column for Cage Code. Now management has decided we do not need to put the Cage Code in the BOM. Our BOM tables have many filters applied, so replacing the table is not the best way to go. I am building a new BOM table for new drawings, but we have a lot of drawings already created .

Is there a way to delete a column from a table?

We are on Creo 4 m080.

Hi Ben,

Have you tried the following..
1. Remove all filters for the column you want to delete

2. Remove the Text that is driving what is being shown in the column

3. Select the column by picking on the bottom of the last cell in the column and right click delete.
worked for me in Creo 4

Hi,

I would use following trick...

  • set text height of parameter shown in the column to 0.01 mm
  • set column width to 0.01 mm

We did that trick already.

Removed the text from the column header cell, removed the first line repeat cell information and then set cell width to .001.

We can add rows and columns, so why can't the software remove rows and columns?
