Did you know that you can use the keywords CBSCR and CBNUT in the *.dat files to preselect a counter bore hole diameter?

Usually IFX takes the first counter bore hole diameter from the ifx_screw_data.cfg file.

With the keywords CBSCR and CBNUT you can preselect another diameter.

In the example you see that for the screw ISO 4014 - 5.6 the counter bore DIN974-2 R1 should be preselected.

While assembling this screw, you get the following result in the Screw Fastener Definition dialog:

Note:

  • Use CBSCR for all screws/bolts
  • Use CBNUT for all nuts
  • For washers you can add both keywords.
    • CBSCR is used for Side 1 Washers
    • CBNUT is used for Side 2 Washers
