Difficulty in selecting sketch entities in Creo

I'm working in Creo Parametric version 11.0.1.0.

 

When in sketch mode and selecting entities for adding dimensions, I hover over the entity until it highlights, but when I click the entity often does not get selected. I thought there might be a config parameter that affects the sensitivity of sketch entity selection, but I wasn't able to identify one.

    Anyone get this figured out yet? I made a ticket, but because my laptop was not on the PTC recommended list they cant really help.

     

    BUT I finally found a computer that IS fully on PTC approved list...and I get the exact same issue in Creo 11. And before anyone asks....Yes I installed the PTC approved video card driver version on it as well.

     

    I see it on 2d Drawings  and also on 3d models (when selecting surfaces to color) 

     

    Tried 11.0.5.0 with no change in behavior too.

      No, nothing new. As you now have a certified computer, you should maybe open a ticket with that computer.

      We have users with certified computers/graphics cards experiencing the same thing with Creo 11.0.5.0. Today am actually on a non-PTC approved system, which just happened to be the same time PTC Support contacted me. I checked at my other location on a definitely supported computer configuration and have the same problem. Worked just fine on both computers in Creo 8.

      *IMO: This is a Creo bug. If I am correct, PTC needs to own it and fix it.

      I don’t agree, they said it was fixed but it wasn’t for many people.

      The real fix is here : 

       

      It comes from windows settings.
