Disable Automatic regeneration of model

Is it possible to stop automatic regeneration of the assembly model.

I have tried disabling the parameter "enable_auto_regen"

That does not seem to help as it gets back to default once we get back

    DId you save the config option? You need to select the pull-down menu where it says something like "Current" and find where it says "config.pro" Then add the configuration option and select 'Save'

    You can also use a text editor to add the option to the config.pro file.

    Yep i did try the same but that does seem to help
